The Bible--God's written revelation to His children--is the most important tool for life. Being a book, Christians have always understood the importance of the Bible being readily available for study when a person so desires. The writings of a church or ministry are important as well in that often information presented during a sermon or oral teaching session is not reiterated enough to be effective in a weekly message. Books, like the Bible, preserve revelation knowledge or teachings so that students can fortify what they have initially heard.

Throughout the body of Christ, it seems that every ministry is producing books. Whether it be a book about Christian living, prayer, marriage or family issues, doctrine, testimonial, devotional, or fiction, the world of Christian publishing has exploded. Pastors and other leaders of churches and ministries often produce written material for their fellowships, Bible study groups, or Sunday School classes, but they rarely are distributed on a larger scope, thus affecting a greater number of believers. This is why it is important to have teaching materials, etc. professionally published--to make them available to a greater number of people who are hungry for them. Instead of producing plain staple bound laser copies of writings, they can be made into a high quality book, just like you would get at any bookstoreand at a lower cost.

Diakonia Publishing is committed to helping the ministry fulfill its calling--for the edifying of the body of Christ [Ephesians 4:12] and the writings from anointed ministers are important in preserving what God has led you to share, again so that many more can benefit from them. We publish only Christian material. (See our brief statement of faith) Each work submitted is reviewed for Scriptural foundation, consistency and harmony. Works of fiction, although to a lesser degree, are evaluated with the same standards.

At Diakonia Publishing it is our goal to produce quality material that allows the Lord's ministers to effectively teach and build up the body of Christ, and also to provide families with wholesome and godly reading entertainment otherwise absent from secular sources.
